In total, it only takes me about two or three minutes to update the above emulators.Īs for PCSX2 and CEMU, I have barely used these emulators and I believe you will have to manually update them by going to their respective websites, downloading the latest stable or nightly builds then reinstall them. LaunchBox is ready to go and also in very active development, so stay tuned for consistent new releases and new features.Weve been the 1 frontend on the desktop for years due to our constant development efforts and listening to community feedback, and were continuing with that same strategy here on Android. Thanks for purchasing and hit us up on the LaunchBox forums with any questions or. Next, I have some of my standalone emulators (Dolphin and Citra) pinned to my taskbar and I have them set to automatically check for updates once the program is open. However, I've been using Stellar for complete core and Retroarch updates almost everyday without any issues. The idea is that once you get a core working in Retroarch you shouldn't update it unless some big new feature has been released for that specific core/emulator. The easiest way to update that I've come up with is to use Stellar to update Retroarch and it's cores to their respective nightly builds. I too have Cemu, Retroarch, Dolphin and PCSX2 running on this machine, in addition to Citra Canary for 3DS. I have it installed on my living room PC that's primarily used for retro/emulation gaming. I've been using Launchbox almost daily since May of this year.
